Hunch Plus and Hunch Pro

Hunch has two paid plans on top of Free. Plus takes the friction out of the day-to-day — no blurred drink invites, longer chats, and the ability to swap a profile out. Pro adds the things that change how dating feels: drops at 10 AM, twice the active conversations, finer filters, priority on your drink invites, and priority visibility. Free still works.

Pricing is shown in the app at checkout and varies by region. Drop size stays the same on every plan — filters affect precision, not volume.

Subscribing, switching, refunds, and canceling

How to subscribe

Open Hunch, go to your profile, and tap Get Hunch+ or Get Hunch Pro. Payment runs through your App Store or Play Store account — Apple or Google handles the charge, the receipts, and renewals. Your plan activates as soon as the purchase clears.

Switching between Plus and Pro

Yes — either direction. Plus → Pro takes effect right away; your remaining Plus time is prorated against the Pro price by the App Store or Play Store. Pro → Plus takes effect at the start of your next billing period, so you keep Pro features until then. Your drop, your conversations, and your filter settings carry over either way.

Updates to the plans

We do change what's in each plan from time to time. When that happens, the update is reflected in the app and active subscribers are notified. New features become available the moment they ship — you don't have to re-subscribe.

Troubleshooting

A few things to try, in order: pull down on the home screen to refresh the app; sign out and back in; force-quit the app and reopen it. If features are still missing, head back to your profile and tap Get Hunch+ or Get Hunch Pro — the App Store or Play Store will recognise an active subscription and restore it. If the store shows the subscription as active but Hunch doesn't, email customersupport@hunchapp.com with your purchase receipt and we'll sort it out.

Refunds and billing

Apple and Google handle billing for every Hunch subscription. That means refunds go through them — not through Hunch.

iOS: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, find the Hunch charge, and request a refund.
Android: open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Hunch → Cancel, then visit your order history to request a refund.

Hunch can't issue refunds for App Store or Play Store purchases — Apple and Google have to.

How to cancel

Cancel inside the Hunch app. Open Hunch, go to My Profile, open the menu, and tap My Hunch Plus or My Hunch Pro. Request a cancellation from there — it takes effect immediately, and the same flow works on both iOS and Android.

Canceling does not delete your account. Your Plus or Pro features stay on until the end of the billing period you've already paid for — see what happens after you cancel.

What happens after you cancel

Your Plus or Pro features stay on until the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that, your account moves to Free and Free's limits apply: drop arrives at 5 PM, up to three active conversations at a time, no swaps, no read receipts, and drink invites in your interests tab go back to being blurred. Pro-only perks — advanced filters, priority drink invites, priority visibility — turn off too. What stays with you: your profile, your existing conversations, and your drink-invite history. You can re-subscribe any time.
